Default Ecutek Tek 3 remap - £499+vat, Powerstation

I have been in touch with Rich at Powerstation enquiring how much it would be for a Tek 3 remap, and it is £550+vat.

I enquired on a group buy price and received an email yesterday, and for only 5 people they will reduce the price to £499+vat saving each person £60.

So if you could post any interest here - we only need 5, for the money saved you could get your geometry set-up properly!

Rich from Powerstation hasn't mentioned any, just need 5 for the discount.

Swtmerce can't do until the end of March, so at least until then.

I have just emailed Rich to check if this is ok, but can't see a problem.

Ian.

the £1600 quoted on their includes changing the exhaust, sports cat and filter.

power wise it is hard to say what they can do with it but one thing for sure is that it will be better than the current. some of the others may be able to cite examples but i would guess at 20-25bhp and similar torque, but i could be very wrong

Shows 270bhp for a WRX on their website.

Evez
Not exactly true, they would re-map with existing and get you about 20-25 bhp extra, remember though each time you add or change anything it will need the map adjusting, first map includes for licence therafter it is far less about £100 each time, with full decat exaust & filter expect around 280, better to wait and get decat & map at same time. this is on a 05 WRX

Does this include a 3 port boost solenoid like the groupbuy Powerstation did before xmas ? Once I have sorted my headers and a couple of bits and bobs I will be looking for a remap.
Was getting it done elsewhere but this price is very tempting

Whooah peeps. I go out for one night and get a flurry of posts!

There are no 'extras' here - no included fuel pump or 3-port solenoid.

This is for a standard Ecutek Tek 3 re-map by one of the best places in the country.

The kind which normally costs 550+vat.

50 quid off for a group buy, that's all no miracles.

Lets not take the **** here - you get what you pay for so behave.

You want more you pay for it - don't f**k this up.

Sorry Scooby Dan! Wrote that last night after too many beers

Luke M:

I have a MY00 classic, have full de-cat and JR filter. Am hoping for 270-280bhp, so about 40-50bhp for the 568 quid which ain't bad

Rich at Powerstation knows about this Group Buy, I have been in touch with him a couple of times. If you want to mention the Group Buy and my name (Ian Jeffery - don't think he knows my user name), then he will know what you are talking about.

the results speak for themselves plus the number of people on here that travel miles to go to powerstation cant all be wrong.

bring it on indeed... I would be very happy with 320bhp from mine and over the moon with anything more than that cos the max figure doesnt tell the whole story. That is only useful for bragging rights.

Ok - it might be cheaper however to get a local garage to swap the exhaust sections for you? Mine didn't charge me much to do mine today.

I must say the price quoted on here for this group buy re-map is extremely cheap, a Tec3 Ecutek on my 05 WRX cost over £900 inc VAT and Rolling Road time, get in there & get it done !!!!!

Thats got me thinking, are the New Age scoobs more expensive to Tek3? I originally asked for my 00 classic, and was quoted 550+vat. I then asked about group buy, and that was 499+vat.

I hope now that the price is the same no matter what model year? I'll have to ask Rich I think to clarify.

As burble mentioned it above are there any other costs to go on top of this IE time on the rollers etc and is this a dual map ?

If not and its an all in price then I will provisionally put my name down but wont be able to get this done till the end of March/beginning of April.
