RAF Marham charity airfield track weekend!
Hello Scoobynet! I hope no-one minds me posting this up here but I am currently organising a track weekend during 26 & 27 September 2015 over at RAF Marham using the airfield and it would be great to see some Impreza's there!
This event has been run before, roughly 2 years ago and we are resurrecting it again.
The event is very cheap in comparison, at £70 per day / £120 weekend pass for as much track time as you can handle.
There is a discussion thread on PistonHeads with loads of information: http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/t...+15&mid=214624
Or to book, please go to www.MarhamTrackDay.co.uk
Hopefully this will be of interest to people, I look forward to seeing you there!!
Regards,
Foz.

Hello mate,
I've text you a reply earlier today but briefly in case others are asking/wondering....
1)The charities are RAF Benevolent Fund and selected Station charities, predominantly helping children.
2) There is no helmet hire available sorry but I just got one for £60 and if anyone knows of a hire company, please let me know and I can enquire or invite them.
3) The noise limit is 105 dB's but not strictly enforced so even a HKS Supper Dragger or Nur will be fine! ;-)
Regards, Foz.

Darren, There is a very decent camp site in Narborough about 2 miles away (if that) called Pentney Lakes.
http://www.pentney-park.co.uk/
Regarding track time: The track is 'open' which means there are no allotted times, it's come and go as you please from 0900 untill 1600+ with an hours break for lunch.
Thank you, the more the merrier!!!

Sorry, that was a typo. 105dB is what we have, but like I say, we use a common sense approach rather than purely measuring it. Last time we had the Ross Sport Evo V there with the exhaust and screamer pipe poking out of the bonnet, and that ran fine!

Registration for this event will close at midnight on Sunday due to needing security clearance checks.
Anybody needing registration after that date will need to contact me and we'll see what we can do.
