Best Launch method

Best Launch method
I'm off to Kirkistown on Sunday for a track day. Main reason is to try out the CDF racing solid drop links and pitchmnount I bought in the recent groupbuy. At this time I also added a Whiteline 24mm rear ARB. I have to say the handling already feels much improved even on the road, with body roll reduced considerably. Although its certainly a harsher ride.
Another thing I want to do while there is time my cars sprint times (0-60 / 0-100 mph) using my Vi Monitor.
Can anyone give me the best advice on how to launch to get best 0-60 / 0-100 times? such as..
what revs to hold?
Do you just drop the clutch and let the technical wizardry to its stuff or should you still balance the clutch?
What setting on DCCD? fully locked / fully open?
It's a 2007 STi hawkeye.
Advice appreciated

Don't "hold" the revs, because you will be holding them with no load on the engine, and then you will just bog down and not go anywhere. You want to rev the engine and when it reaches your desired revs, lift up the clutch. What revs and how quickly you bring up the clutch is up to you ! I personally launch at 6000rpm and drop the clutch.

Great advice lads. Excellent example 450r. Turns out I was too chicken **** to drop it anyway. I'm out about a grand this month between road tax, 2 new tyres and track day costs so didn't want to incur the expense of a new clutch too
The vi mon recorded a rather disappointing 7 secs 0-60. A good 1- 1.5 more than what I was hoping. I guess I could save that with a proper launch. All good crack
Need a remap

Its all about timing; holding the clutch at biting point just long enough to get the boost to build up a little, then letting it up completely just as it kicks in. Too slow and you get lots of slip and a funny smell. Too fast and not enough revs/boost and you'll just bog down. Too fast with too many revs just gives too much wheelspin.
Here's how I do it:
Rapid Full throttle blips to maintain the desired launch revs. RPM will depend on the turbo and 1st gear ratio. A UK TD04 with cats will be happy at 4K RPM. a TD05 or larger will need more revs.
Quickly bring clutch up to its bite point (you should already know where this is from driving in stop-start traffic ).
Hold the pedal just above that biting point for about the same time it takes to say 'elephant' aloud whilst giving the engine more throttle. Then bring the clutch up the rest of the way whilst flooring the throttle.
PS, I should get a launch vid up on youtube as there is alot of vids on there that don't seem to be able to launch properly.. and they change gear like a granny
I wonder if I can borrow my old Impreza back (still on the original clutch)

Be interesting to see what 60ft`s are run on these different type of launces, especially yours scoobydoo?
I keep bliping the throttle to about 5/6k, then when the lights go, let the clutch out as fast as I can and let the last blip of the throttle go all the way to the floor. This has landed me with a fastest of 1.67 60ft, and all under 1.71.
Although First time I ran in the wet was SSO last year, always ran with DCCD in auto, but was advised to switch to locked, then managed to get a 1.96 in standing water, yet to try the diff locked in the dry!
