Default How much boost pressure standard ecu

Hi guys, wondered if anyone could tell me how high the standard fuelling map will go on a standard 95 wrx ecu (in terms of boost)? Fancied an aftermarket boot controller and wondered what the limits were without chipping

The reason that you have not had many replies is because it is hard to say as every engine can run slightly different.

The way to do it is to get your controller and then hot-foot it to your local rolling road for it to be set up.

You could do it yourself but you would need to be able to watch the AFR throughout the rev range by means of a wideband afr meter or a laptop. If you don't have this kit then it will be cheaper to go to the RR.

Hi guys. Thats fine, I have all the right kit as I normally tune Evos. I just know from experience on an Evo for example the fuel and ign tables go beyond what the standard max calculated load will be. Therefore you can up the boost a bit and the ECU will adjust itself to cater for this. New to Subarus and basically wanted to have a bit of fun with the Donor car while I am building a V-storm. Ill have a little play this weekend and see how it goes

Cheers

Would you not be better getting the ecu remapped in case the increased boost results in knock?
