dccd settings for snow

Just remember not fully open for christ sake's
i made this mistake last april,force of habit
jump in the car,turn on engine,click DCCD button to manual fully open every day
However..................the first bend i tried to take,power on a little too early out went the back end solberg style F******** scared myself silly
i would surgest leaving it in auto my good man
but doesnt the booklet recommend locked for loose gravel/snow etc

If you lock the diff, all the wheels rotate at the same speed- which isn't ideal for cornering; basically, it will be quite stable in a straight line but won't turn corners.
DCCD setting, when using road tyres, on snow, won't make a hell of a lot of difference.

guys just readind this,the correct snow setting is to the rear locked as in auto mode the dccd will spin about looking for traction which isnt there,where as locked means all wheels drive, if im wrong maybe subaru are kiddin us...

YouTube - messn round in my v5 sti ra v-limited this was me last year was best fun i have ever had in a car i had the diff on full green which was most power to rear couldnt fault it role on the snow lol
