Suspension tuning for pro's
Currently I have a fully adjustable AST coilver suspension on my classic.
I can change ride height, damping and even the springs for softer/harder ones.
The company (AST) can also re-valve the dampers to my personal taste but how can I know if a damper is too hard, too soft or if the dampers are not suited for the springs and so...
The coilover kits from AST come in a standard setting but from there you can change almost any setting (height and damping) or you can change springs or let the dampers re-valve.
The ride height is the same as standard (345 mm from fender to centre of wheel), also the anti roll bars are standard (except from the links).
Somebody got to help me out here...

From AST I got some e-mails concerning the settings.
The altering is combined, 15 clicks.
Normally I had ordered an independent system, but by mistake they made this one.
Don't misunderstand me, it works great, but I just want to learn more about suspension settings.
Some pics :
In the pics you will see that the ride-height adjuster is totally wound down, this is just for easy fitting of the springs, I ride now almost on total standard ride height.
Other reason for this post is the article in Japanese Performance about the cr@p fitting of the Sachs coiloverkit on their long term WRX. I think they had just way too hard springs.
My springrates now are : 280 lbs front and 250 lbs rear...
Maybe softening the rear a litlle was my next move (about 200 lbs)
