Question

My MOT's due in November, I'm full decat now, SS downpipe and HKS Hiper system.

Has anybody that did have a decat system actually put the cat back on?

What was the impact?, I know everyone says how much quicker things spool up without the cat's, I was wondering what the observations are going the other way...is it noticable that it's not spinning up as quick?

I'm seriously considering having my original front pipe put back on. Is this a bad idea?

Not done it myself but Power Engineering can supply a centre section with a sports cat in. They assure me it will pass an MOT with it without loosing and performance.

Costs about £400!!!

Just a thought
Steve.

I know that ChrisB's car passed an MOT with a std center section but with his downpipe in place.

You notice an improvement when you go decat - but not as big as the drop in performance going back to catted.
You won't like it.
