Darn noise coming from back of car ???

Hi all,
I have a JDM STI-7 and I have a noise coming from what seems like the back, left wheel / trunk area. I have seen other threads on this. Anyone have the same thing on a JDM STI-7 ? Also, I can deal with the noise as long as no damage is being done to my car or there is no potential for my car to become dangerous, ie: lose control.....any thoughts ?? Anyone with fixes ??

I am happy that someone else has a JDM Spec STI-7, the more the merrier (Think BretMan is another although his may be slightly different being a NZ car ??) as I like the info I can that you guys can supply that may differ from UK spec STI's
