Does any one have the Magnex downpipe on their "classic" impreza turbo?
If so whats the fitment of it like?
I'm sure PE said there were problems with the magnex version.
Any help would be great.

Thanks

There is a bolt on an angled bracket on mine - the angled bracket looks like an afterthought - can't remember where it goes on somewhere near the gearbox IIRC which has a rather awkward bolt access. Once on it is fine.

Thanks John,

Just to confirm it is the twin-dump design?
Will it connect to the standard centre section Okay?
What about putting the heat shield back on, is it possible?

Regards
Steve

It is of a twin dump design, Magnex developed a twin dump and open neck but stuck with the twin as it gave better gains in torque.

If you need any help or more information please let me know.

Connects to the standard centre. Heatshield goes back on if trimmed.

I've got the twin dump version. The guy who fitted it now hates me, it eventually went on but the fit was not good and he had to struggle with it a bit.

Nevamind, its on now and i'd say it was worth the money (even if the fitter doesn't agree ).

Tony.
