My cars in for a service on Wednesday, I've had 2 instances of my check engine light coming on. Last happended around 2 months ago I guess, rebooting the car made the light go off both times.
Will the ECU remember why the last 2 warning lights came on over that period of time?
Waranty is up at the end of Nov this year, so anything dicky I'd like to see fixed now..

John,
Another question about Knock. I asked the dealers to check my car for knock with the select monitor, and all they did was connect it and said there weren't any errors. Is that safe to assume that if there had been knock over the past few months, then it would have been recorded, and shown when he checked it ? Just thought I check
Cheers Phill C

Bull$hit I am afraid. I'll show you when I see you how you can tell if it is knocking - basically it is a live readout and there is no code I have ever heard of to say it has been.
