Question

The dealer says that i have to replace the clutch (26K miles) but it hasn't the "typical" bad clutch signs (slipping, etc). It stays down when pressed in hard deceleration (exiting highways, etc) or pushing gears to the limit. The strange part is that i can put gears when the pedal is down only they are harder to engage. If you drive in a more moderate fashion all is fine. Do i need a new clutch or is it springs/oil bomb/etc problem? (Impreza sti iV type R) Does a oem clutch fit a sti car?
