PPP - which exhaust to suit for best performance/torque?
#1
again... soz!
I have the PPP on my MY99 uk turbo (as u probably now know).
I have the exhaust as per PPP.
I am going to fit a Scoobysport DP.
Which exhaust would be best matched to this to give best performance wrt low down torque?
Was thinking scoobysport.
Then thinking Blitz.
Then back to Prodrive to save money, but would like rally style exhaust note.
Thoughts?

Any of the usual suspects for downpipes should do the job. I considered changing my PPP backbox to something less restrictive, but the only one I have come across that I am convinced would give a substantial change is the Blitz Nur Spec R. There are no doubt others of the drainpipe variety, and for me they are all too loud with a full decat, so I changed the turbo to get the power and kept the quiet exhaust system. I think you heard mine at Knockhill and of course you have heard it on the road.

I went for a 'quiet' version of the SS backbox - very happy...once I finally got it, lol!
It's quieter than the PPP backbox with a decat on full boost (I had to sell mine - too loud when leaving Swiss villages at 6am in the morning ).....but a bit louder at idle.
