Can someone tell me where the wastegate solenoid is please ?
I'm feeling a bit dumb today

Hi,

Driver's side suspension tower. It's a cylinder about 3" long with rubber pipes attached to it.

Can it be cleaned ?
My car fluffs sometimes and I think the oil level is too high. Do you think this would intefere with the idle of the car too ???

Idle problem could be MAF sensor, I believe.

Brake cleaner can be used for cleaning the solenoid. Did mine the other day - there is a thread somewhere with pics...

Can anyone remember where?

Yeah,
I changed the MAF sensor the other week, it made a slight improvement.
Going to WD40 the TPS and clean solenoid and let some oil out !
