UPRATED TMIC IS IT WORTH IT ?

has any 1 got the above and found good results .i know the best way to go is a fmic but pennies wont go that far yet and i have found the above item for about £350 all info on a tmic will be appreciated.....thanks mark

I can only comment on the MRT TM. Whilst the MRT, and Scoobymania products look very similar, the cores are totally different.
The MRT core is "bar & plate", and the SM core is "tube & fin".
Some say that B&P gives less cooling, but better flow, because it has a more open core, and T&F has a more restrictive flow, but a better surface area for cooling.
IMO, this will be purely down to the various individual core designs.
I would certainly recommend the MRT, since with my setup, on my car, it reduced intake temps by circa 20 deg'C. I've now switched to the MRT FMIC. I've not had any issues with either cooling,or flow efficiency.
I'm sure the SM IC will work well, but have no personal experience with it.
