Probably be easier buying a secondhand diff? Just make sure its the correct diff to match your gearbox code

Be sure it isnt your rear shocks as they can sound/feel the same.

This is common on STi's especially dccd models. What model is yours? I would do an oil change first.

I changed the oil in mine and it's louder than before but I know it's just something the dccd rear diff does and its not a problem.

i had a noise comming from under the car, i was advised my centerdiff was worn and 550 pounds later = gearbox and rear diff replaced the noise is still there!!!!!!. check your wheel bearings 100% and callipers 1st before your told its a big money job and also the shocks if theres no oil inside it will amplify hub noise giving impression of worn diffs and the like.

How do you test if the bearings are gone in the diff? And to answer the original question are they available as a kit to buy?
