Urgent help fella's, clutch pin cover won't budge.
Guy's doing my clutch today and got everything undone bar the clutch pin cover. It's on the verge of rounding the 10mm hex, it hasn't yet but it's starting to. Any Ideas, is this a right and thread or is it a left by chance. I can see if it rounds off I'm going to be screwed good and proper. Had a 10mm hex bit on a 18" breaker bar and it still won't budge. ANY help please!!!!

Ok used the ball of the hammer to just peen the hex back into shape and went and bought a little blow torch and warmed it up. It has finally cracked off so I'm out the crapper. Got everthing off now but called it a day as it's thundering and I'm out on the drive. Tomorrow I'll get the box out fit the Ap clutch, do the rear seal, transfer the cradle to the other gearbox and build her back up with plenty of copper slip where needed.

I would IMHO use ceramic grease on the pin.
A steel pin in a aluminium gearbox with copper added to it asking for trouble, if I recall correctly.
With ceramic grease you'll have taken out a possible problem.
