Default Rear Diff Dying (turbo fits a non turbo?)

Hello,
Sorry to be a noob but ive searched my heart out and i cant find an answer.

After my cars A/F pre cat sensor dying at (£209) along with its service, its decided to give me a free rear diff tooth on the bung.

So my question is before it completely dies, would a WRX rear differential have the correct ratios?

Or will a pre MY04 non turbo diff have the right ratios?

Any help truely appreciated, as im sort of in a mess lately
