Question four wheel drive (4wd) to rear wheel drive (rwd) possible?

Can anyone tell me whether its possible to convert a wrx/sti to RWD rear wheel drive only and if they know what it involves?
Is it easy to do? ie; is it a case of just simply disconnecting the front drive shafts?

cheers

As a drift car you really need more lock than the impreza flat engined platform gives you though .... the lock stops are suprisingly limiting on a rwd impreza.

There is a splined coupling you can buy to replace the centre diff which is a fancyer version of welding it up.
