Default Strange one

I have an unusual problem with my 2005sti 96 speed)
When i hit my brakes even very gently, sometimes the rear diff temp light on the dash flickers on and off and iff i go over a few bumps it flickers again.

i thought it make be low diff oil but ive tried it on hills , braking hard etc but its very intermittent but it doesnt happen whe the car is stationary.

this has only started since i had the timing belt replaced but that was no problem and the car is runnig great otherwise and there is no noise from the rear diff, its bone dry and no oil leaks anywhere on the garage floor.

Can anyone help as i have to drive over 300 miles on Monday morning and wouls like to do so with confidence.

Thanks
