As far as Ican remember it is only held on by one bolt a 10 mm I think , undo it and pull the sensor out . Not difficult at all.

My MY01 goes into the dealer tomorrow for its cam sensor replacement.They told me it'll take 1/2 an hour but that must be conservative uh? (I ain't payin cos it's under warranty so they're obviously not tryin to rip me off!!!

)

About 15 seconds to do, last time i did. Pull the plug off, undo the one bolt. Put new sensor in, tighten bolt, put plug back on and it is done.

Is the crank sensor the one at the front - 10mm job, I have done that one before.

This is the cam sensor - whereabouts is it in the engine bay? anyone care to post a picture - would be very grateful
