Hiya,

I've got an exedy clutch ready to be fitted, but i checked the part number of the kit and the clucth plate is a different number to the one i need (on thier site)

The pressure plate and bearing are the same.

The plate i own is a FJD013U (part of the FJK2018 kit)

but the plate it states needed for my Year of car is FJD035U, but on the specs states virtually the same specs for both clutch plates.

Does any one know the difference, and would it matter much if i fitted the clutch plate i have now.

Hi Chris,

I haven't come across that part number before from memory and we sell hundreds of Exedy Impreza kits a year. What year was your car manufactured? Which model? The WRX changed from pull to push in 2005.

My car is a 05 plate 2.0 impreza GX sport.

The clutch plate on exedys site states the clutch kit I've bought for the 00-02
But the clutch for my year is 02-05, but the same engine code (EJ201) code (G11GD) and clutch specs are the same (as in dimensions) the only difference the 02-05 has p.c.d .:268;

Clutch I've bought - FJD013U

Clutch on exedys site for my year - FJD035U

FJD013U Specs from Exedy's Site (clutch I've bought):-
Outer: 225; Inner: 150; NOS: 24; Major: 25,2;

FJD035U Specs for clutch Exedy's Site says i need :-
Outer: 225; Inner: 150; NOS: 24; Major: 25,2; P.C.D.: 268;

Everything same except that P.C.D and the part number.

Just rang exedy, they couldn't help.
They had no drawings of the clutch's and couldn't tell me if there was any differences.
