If no one can, could someone at least suggest the
Make of clutch I should get as I suspect the 'stock'
Clutch was not up to the job?????

Get recovered to Richard Henry Autos, Bowling Back Close, Bradford, West Yorkshire, Tel: 01274 732508

Circa £400 fitted

They are highly recommended on here and are used by a lot of members in the Yorkshire area.

Drive it like you stole it !

Exedy twin plate if you are going after more power, or RH as advised above.

KT Greens subaru dealer would be my answer but they will most prob rape you.

The transmission has a 5year 60k warrenty but a clutch is a consumable i think so unsure.

But id ring Im and ask a clutch should not go at 11k unless your lauching tracking or driving wrongly. you have hill start assist dagnamit :P

main stealer will charge £100/hour + vat so you are looking at approx £700 in labour to fit a clutch. £500 for an oem clutch does seem excessive though.

Thanks for all the posts back will try the company suggested.
Have asked the main dealer re: under warrenty - they said 'a grey area', I think this means -'come to us we'll claim, charge you a massive amount, then after say, sorry we've just heard not covered, so pay up'
Also suspect they are having me on 'cos price gone down from 1200 to 1000 - Mmmm.

Re my driving - Have driven the car 11k like it should be driven, but have to say not like the devils on my back or trying to launch to the moon, so I think it was defective - but I'll never be able to prove it

Six hour job if you yank the box out...

Half that to pull the engine...

3-4 hrs will see that job done no sweat, clutch is around £350 so with labour & vat about £700 main dealer charge, looking at the price you've been quoted thats off the subaru super service menu which is way out, an experienced techy will do that in his sleep.
clutch may well be covered under warranty but only if the car is A:- Standard and unmodified in anyway. B:- has a full dealer service history regardless of mileage C:- Actually show signs of failure within the clutch

Did you get anywhere with this?
The clutch in my 09 330S with similar mileage has a bit point which is right at the top of the pedal release, so I suspect its on its way out.
