Default TY754 DCCD to a 93 Classic

I am running a UK spec 752 gearbox and diff.
Can I swap to a TY754 DCCD with much of a problem. I think 6 speeds are not goint to happen and my max power will be 385/380.

To make the conversion as simple as possible you'll need a 4.444 r160 rear diff.

If you go R180 which is what came with the DCCD equped cars then you'll need to swap the rear shafts hubs and brakes.

So the simplest way, is

DCCD box
DCCD controller
DCCD switch and an R160 4.444 rear diff.

The other option you have is to mix and match and have box made to suit your needs.

Many thanx I am looking at the charts, looks like the final drive will be a lower ratio. As all the boxes I have seen are close ratio. As far as the controller , I was thinking to use an aftermarket one , with G-Sensors, a bit like my old GTR .

I doubt you will find any DCCD (well maybe an STI RA v ltd if its had the longer 5th installed) to have ratio's anywhere near that of a UK spec box

You may aswell by a six speed in that case!!

Gearkits are mucho expensive. It's cheaper to buy a DCCD 6 speed complete conversion kit.
