Default clutch

Just fitted a new clutch, when changing gear or putting my foot down the pedal stops down but bleeded it & it works fine

Did you adjust the free play in the pedal?

you cant adjust the freeplay on a hydraulic clutch mate,its self adjusting

Wrong There's a threaded bar that connects the pedal to the clutch master cylinder and you need to get to the pedal end of that rod and adjust it to allow some slack in the pedal.

well mate ive fitted many a subaru clutch plate over the years and ive never had to adjust the rod at the master cylender to get free play on a clutch.ive never heard any one else doing this also,
