Weird stuff going on with my gearbox
hey what up 
my car is 99 impreza gt 218ps andi noticed some very weird stuff happening recently, which upset me very much.
when i start rolling at ...lets say about 15-20mph in reverse, the reverse gear just pops off back to neutral. the other thing is first and reverse gears are almost impossible to engage from the first time. i need to try at least a bunch of times for win lmao. reverse, 1st to 2nd hard as f.....
3rd and 4th are ok.
the clutch is brand new. do you have any ideas whats this all about?

I used my phase 2 impreza for auto sprints and reverse was used a lot at big revs and used to pop out regularly.
Reverse isn't really ideal for higher speeds so not necessarily a problem but I await to be corrected.
As for the problem of 1st and reverse it really sounds like something is up with the clutch not disengaging fully an hence making it difficult to get in gear. Once in gear whats it like for pulling away or changing through the box?
