Hi,

I've had the PPP on my MY01 for two months now. In the last week or so, something new's been happening:

Noticable in 3rd or 4th, when booting it with max boost (gauge reads the regulated 15psi (i think my gauge reads low btw)), as you accelerate, there are always a couple of brief spikes in torque. You get a brief extra jolt in your back. There is no visible twitch on the needle of the boost gauge... it stays rock steady.

Any ideas what this could be? car went in for a service yesterday and i asked them to have a look. they said don't worry about it, all PPP's do that. But to me it seems odd that it's only started doing it recently when i've had the ppp for a couple of months.

Sounds like the timing is changing perhaps (Boost isn't everything after all!!! ). The MY01. ECU's change the timing dynamically and it's possible it's this you're feeling.

What fuel are you running?

Regapping the spark plugs cured a hesitation on mine when running 18-19 PSI. Car has 16000 miles.
