I got a Bailey VTA dump valve in july last year. When i got it it sounded great but i have started to notice that it has got extremley quite just lately.... You can still hear it but it just isn't as loud as normal.

Any ideas anyone?

Hi matey...

Its usually the other way round mate they seem to sound quiet and then get louder!!!

One thing to check is the small spring the other end of valve...Take the valve apart and after removing spring then piston there should be a small spring at the other end... Make sure it is seated properly as they can come out of place which causes the vale not to open/shut properly

Can't really help - I never noticed the Bailey on my old car getting any quieter! Your best bet would be to speak to Bailey direct. They are normally very helpful and could probably answer your questions very quickly. Their website is here

Cheers
Chris
