what prop for 6speed?
im after a little advise.im just finishing a golf/subaru project car
its based on a 1993 subaru legacy single turbo engine/running gear/floorpan and ive managed to put a mk2 golf onto it.call it vwrx golfaru.
im building an engine up for now with mahle piston/eagle rod/new crank/bearings etc but will be useing the cdb that was in the lagacy to get even more power once on the road.im wondering what prop i would need to run a 6 speed box/diff in the golfaru.i think the legacy is slightly longer(gearbox-diff)but not my car in project section.
thanks for any help.

On a classic impreza conversion you can use a prop off an automatic.I would try find out the lengths of all the prospective props[auto /classic/6 speed] then stick the gearbox in and measure the diffrence when you offer up the legacy prop witch will give you the aprox size you need and hopefuly one of the prospective is useable.
