Has anyone tried Silkolene Pro Boost Fuel Additive for their
Scooby? How does this compare to NF or Millers octane boosters?

Well, having tried all 3, personally, I found it to be the least effective. Millers is far better, but NF is by far the best (imo) based on how much more ignition I can run when using it

At the moment I am using Optimax on a MY99 with PPP.

I dont get any pops or bangs. Will the octane booster provide the pops and bangs?

I can't fit a induction ki as it will void the warranty.

Pops, and bangs come from too much fuel entering the exhaust (when it's very hot) when you lift off the throttle.

I guess you still have the stock D/P ? if you don't , then it just means you're fueling is pretty good.

I doubt octane booster will give you P's & B's, but try it.

I don't know anyone amongst the guys I talk to, who use Pro Boost. Some still use Millers, but most have switched to NF.

Vinesh !
Sounds like you have a very much STD car if so then i reccommend
1 ml per litre of the RACE FORMULA to the 98 you are using with STD 15 psi boost.

Check out my Delta Dash log running NF - no retarding at all despite 5.5-6 PSI over standard on the standard ECU/intercooler/turbo. I didn't do a before and after but comparing with other cars running less boost and no NF I think I have the info I need.

Pro Boost is the only one which is a blend of MBTE (a very complex hydrocarbon that is difficult for oxygen atoms to attach to, so controlling combustion spread) and Toluene and will not cause any internal deposits.

Its also the only one that you can drive a car on, if you run out of fuel... as I found out at the weekend

Question

According to Scoobyscene...

"

View the test graphs:
Graph 1

Graph 2

Directions for use:

"To use NF Octane Booster, simply add 5mls per litre prior to re-fuelling. On average, 1 bottle treats up to 6 full tanks of fuel."

Is that dosage OK for a standard (except of a BPM backbox) MY97?

Matt
