Default STI WRX Import Classic

Hi I have recently purchased a WRX STI Import to use for track days only. I have so far upgraded brakes serviced the engine and am just fitting a cage
The issue I have is with the gearing Whilst the car is very quick up to about 110mph it looks like it doesnt have too much more to give without reving it to death.Th eengine has recently been rebuilt at Scooby clinic and I dont want to rebuild it too often!
What options do I have and whats the cost.? Can i go with a 6 speed box or what is the best final drive to use

The limiter has been removed I just didnt want to rev it to death if there was another option at reasoable cost.
I did go to 17 inch wheels but they catch the rear suspension and iam not sure they would make that much difference if i fit spacers

Why are they catching the arches?

Unless the tyres are the wrong size or you've dropped the suspension this should not happen. 17's on a Classic should be wearing 215/40/17 or 215/45/17, depending on your preference you could even go 205.

What about a re-map?

In that case they should have been 205/16/50's. Perhaps too big a profile.
