swap gearbox
Hi all, after a little info please.
Got myself a 94 JDM impreza and the gearbox has melted.
I'v got a ty754vn1aa box and diff six months ago to fit in but never got round to fitting it till now. I'v got the diff in but my o/s/r half shaft wont fit ( the inner pot joint is to long and hitting the cross pin in the diff) and have been told i also need to change the gear linkage and tap a hole in the starter.
Can anyone confirm this? or let me know wot i will need to finish the job?
Im sure the topic has been done to death but serching the forums im unable to find a post that tell's me one way or the other.
