Transmissions compatibility for a Buggy!
Hello everyone!
I'm comming here with an uncommon question.
I've bought a 4.1 Subaru Impreza 1993 STI LSD diff with the matching transmissions (don't know the word for it in english, in here is "cardans").
This will be used in a home-made edge piranaha buggy, like this:
It fits perfectly!
The thing is, now I'm in need of some hubs for the wheels, but the correspondant hubs from the 93 scooby aren't really what I was looking for. The knuckle is a "one-piece" kind. I was looking more into something like this:
My question is, will a newer subaru hub fit that older "cardan"? What models could I use? Does it have to be a subaru or are there other models/brands that use the same "measure" of cardan?
If anyone knows the answer I would be more then gratefull!
Sorry if my explanation wasn't the best, but I'm Portuguese and some specific words I don't really know the translation.
