Default 1995 Type RA Diff

Hi,

I have a 1995 STi type ra and I have just noticed that there is a slight delay in power delivery through the transmission to the rear wheels. I've jack the back of the car up and there is a little slap on the input shaft but nothing out of the ordinary. There is however a little up and down movement on the drive shafts in the diff but not enough to let the oil seals leak oil. The diff is slightly noisy on over run and power but again, not really noisy.

Is this something I need to address sooner rather than later as the 4.444 diffs aren't easy to find and buy.

Thanks for any help,
Regards,
Nick.

Should be plenty of them about then, just not mechanical LSD ones?

Think my diff sounds like it needs attention or not?

I don't won't to replace or sell my diff, just asked the question about the play on the output shaft bearings.
