Default Removal of rear diff and filling?

Anyone have a thread on removing the rear diff? I need to change a seal for the prop. Thanks

dunno if theres a thread but ive tqken mine out before. sequence of works is something like this:-

uno diff guard plate.
undo 2 bolts from propshaft. push car back, get the other two and drop the diff end of the prop.
car up on axle stands, undo lower end of suspension from hub assembly. pull hub assembly away from car so driveshafts pull out of diff. repeat for other wheel.
put trolley jack under diff. undo two bolts on the top of the rear of the diff. undo all other bolts and you need to slide the diff forward cuz of those two bolts top/back.

been a while since i did it, but thts basicaly the sequence of works. the diff is heavier than it looks, especialy if your laying on the floor trying to lift it so deffinately us the trolley jack.

refit is the reverse o the above.

for filling, there are two plugs on the rear face of the diff. low one is for draining, higer one is for filling. jutst shove the filling tube in there and fill it till oil reaches the edge of the filer hole and your done
