whats the limit on the TY752VB3CA box
a mate of mine will be putting a gotech ecu on an import sti he has recently bought. its knocking so needs a bottom end rebuild but he will be pushing the engine to the absolute limits then rebuilding it with forged internals and converting it to 2.2 with centre thrust bearings. he has asked me to look at what the gearboxes can handle until they go pop

I can only really comment on v5\P1\v6 'boxes so not much help I'm afraid; not up to speed on earlier cars...some 'boxes seem stronger than others with people running over 500 lbs\ft (Engine Tuner), and them holding together whilst others have shat them selves at 350 lbs\ft...
