Default GEARBOX OIL!!!

Own a GL with STI V6 conversion. Noticed yesterday that my gearbox oil is low and how would i go about topping this up, is it simply just pour the oil in from the dipstick?.. or should i take it to my mechanic and get it drained and topped up?

Also which oil would you guys reccomend?

Thanks

A good 75w90 synthetic oil is most commonly used. Millers, Castrol, Motul etc. You can fill it up from the dip stick access. Hope this helps.
