Hi there I parked my 1994 WRX up after realising that the top radiator hose had cracked. Then due to the big freeze the car sat in the same place for a few weeks. Went to start it today (no problem) However I was unable to select any gear! The gearbox and clutch were fine before it was parked up.

I realise its hard to diagnose over the internet, but any ideas? thanks

 

can you move the stick left to right just not forward or back?

 

also is it any different if the engine is off?

 

It goes into all the gears fine when the engine is off. Then when the engine is on it will move left to right fine but not forward or back

 

clutch sounds ****ed

 

Im currently breaking 99 uk turbo, would the excedy clutch from it fit?
