Default Newage wrx Clutch problem

Hi Guys

When we bought our scoob I thought she needed a new clutch, when giving it some :-) When you dip the clutch to change gear the revs go up slightly (I thought it was slip). SO we had a new exedy clutch fitted, but the car done less thank 2k since clutch fitted and driving it the other its still their. Its the mrs car so she does not give the car any stick, it was only the other day when I had a blast.

Any ideas ?

Lets guess here - bug eye by any chance ?

If so they have a habit of doing that and it just takes a change in driving style to overcome.

If not a bug eye then get a specialist to look at it.

Hi David

Thanks for the reply,
No its an early blob, kind of standard, both decats and hks induction and scoobyclinic exhaust, its not been mapped yet. Thought thedump valve could be a problem but got a new baileys and that made no difference. Could it be overboosting due to not been remapped? I no could be an issue with a sti, this wrx gets driven like a smart car 92% of the time, hence not the remap yet
