Default Gearbox oil discolouring

Hi Guy's,

About 3 months ago I drained the gearbox oil and put in Motul oil as I was led to believe it was a all round better gear oil to have over Halfords Castrol Syntac oil.

Well checking the oil today, the colour of the oil when I fillied the gearbox was a very clear oil, today it looks abit more like a Pee colour.

This tells me something aint right, but as to what is causing it I havent a clue, anyone have any idea's why and any recommendations of what to try next ?

Thanks
Matt

Surely its just mixed in with some of the old oil left in the box

Its impossible to drain every last drop of old oil out.

I agree with DSS789!!! the more (and often) you change it the clearer it will look!!!
