Unless you are doing a lot of drag racing, keep to the std 2.5 cover and plate but with an Exedy release bearing.
It will cost IRO £270 and will still deal with your current output and quite a bit more.
I still use one on a 20g without any issues.
Dealer part no.s are:
Plate: 30100AA920
Cover: 30210AA670
Ebay Exedy release bearing £30.

I am putting in some Mahle pistons next week and going for a M321T or SC46 after New Year, so I am looking to be running 420ish bhp then.
Exedy clutches are around £300-£350 so I think I will go for one of them.

Got to be honest. The price Bob is selling these kits at are bloody good as it goes.
I would be interested in the price of the first clutch kit as that is urber cheap for that kit including anti judder etc. Like the OP has asked Bob what lbft is that rated too?
I went for a Helix Organic Single plate with Grp N clamp loading and that works a treat. But is a little bit more than what your looking to pay by the sounds of things.
If your car is slipping now on the OE Clutch no point in replacing it with a OE Clutch. And what with the mods your adding I think your be pulling around 440bhp / 440lbft mark on the 2.5 if I am thinking right at this hour of the day? lol
You may need a superior clutch like a twin plate or even a ACT clutch?

Well since I am fitting new pistons/rods just now I will be 100% fitting a MD321T/SC46 when I next come back onshore, so I am looking for a clutch capable of 420/420.
Its just annoying that on manufacturers websites they dont list the max torque their clutches can take!
