I've just fitted the first mod to my impreza (MY97). A magnex 6 x 4 cat back. It looks a tad large but sounds great. I am very very impressed. Don't know what the power's like, seems abouth the same but I have a huge grin every time the car starts. I havn't really heard any other pipes on an impreza but am happy with my choice. Few more mods on the way (blitz filter, Dual TT, forge dv) so should be even better soon. I am a happy bunny. Got the zorst from Jamie at performance exhausts. I don't have any association with him apart from as a customer and the service was excellent (replying to my emails at 10.15 pm etc). I would recommend giving him a call. He also approached me about the magnex by email not on this site so wasn't abusing the forum. Nuff said or he'll have a big head and take up the full page

LOL Thanks Marc!

I hope everything goes well with your car! Speak to you soon!

Now if *argh* I *oow* could *ouch* get my *head* out of my office door I wouldn't be answering emails at 10.15pm!

Marc,

I'm going to be getting the Magnex too (v.soon). Did you find it easy enough to fit?

Yep, very easy to fit although I had an experienced friend to help. Took about 30 minutes, most of that was on undoing the 2 bolts between the sections. These were a tad seized and the extra hands were very useful. Magnex supply new bolts but no gasket which you may need. Mine was fine so I left it. Ramps will help, bit tight under the car. Huge grin when I started the car.
Good luck.

I just used an angle grinder to get the old bolts off guess I've just had to remove seized bolts once to often !!

Same wagon as mine, looks great, people keep staring as I go by, it's hard to drive quietly but keeps making me smile.
