Nitrous Kit for a fiesta?
#4
Just as a point of principle, if a 1.1 Fiesta had suitable mods to pistons etc then there is no reason why it can't develop over 200 bhp on NOS. Neck snapping....yes, gearbox, clutch, driveshaft (edited to add crank ) also I would expect

Not sure about the 200bhp Andy, the valencia engine has only 3 main bearings rather than the 5 in the Kent. I wouldn't want to extract that kinda grunt from it.

Don't see why not
Those little mini's only had 3 bearing cranks and they revved them to 9500+ fitted 16 valve heads and turbo's to give over 200 bhp.
IIRC the Cosworth FVA was based on the 100E pre x-flow 3 bearing block/crank ? (showing my age now)
ps I can't believe we are seriously discussing this

Chris Todd from PE has got 330BHP from his Fiesta. But then he has Nitrous, a turbo (high revs) and a supercharger (low revs). Nice torque curve though.
Seeing a Fiesta do 13.0 standing quarter at Santa Pod is quite a sight !

I do like the submersible (sp?) garden fountain pump that runs the chargecooler, and the central locking motor that runs the supercharger bypass valve.
He drew the line when I suggested coat hanger operated VVT though. Some people.
