Hi folks,
First off let me say thanksx1000 to Steve Lawson for giving me 'Technical support' over the phone today whilst test driving my latest scoob.
Amongst other problems that have surfaced, I am getting a lot of hesitating when booting it. Can only describe it a sort of lurching. Quite often just after about 5k revs whilst on the loud pedal , I would get this effect.
Unfortunatly it is happening lower down the revs also. Less abrupt, but repeatedly as the revs build, such as little surge at 3000, 3750, 4000, then a big surge about 5ish. She doesn't always do it but still quite a lot. Steve said to look for boost spike around the times when it happened as a start whilst test driving her. I was too busy concentrating, but my mate was looking (unfortunetly, he probably had no idea what he was looking for) and didn't think that he saw any.
Hopefully it will only be one of t minor things:
1, poss faulty coil pack, so replace the bunch I say
2, Clogged up boost solenoid.
Now, before I Take up Steve's well earnt time off this weekend, I thought that I would my friends on here about what they thought on this?
Cheers,
Nick
