How do you know when you've blown an airflow sensor?
#1
I'm having a problem with my P1 and I can't figure it out what it is. I've just been reading a post regarding Induction Kits causing the airflow sensors to go. I've got a Blitz Induction kit and I would like to know the "symptoms" of a blown airflow sensor. Any response would be much appreciated.

Obvious symptoms are Check Engine Light, car unwilling to give you more than 0.5bar boost, misfiring etc.
Less obvious symptoms are rough idling and grey/white (instead of black) exhaust from running lean.
Best to take it to your dealer and see if it's running lean/see if there is a fault report code and/or put it on the gas analyser.
