Question

I've had a MY00 from new, driven 22K miles in it without a hitch except that whenever I am driving slowly under clutch control - like in a jam or pulling out of a side street. The engine is making the most strange noise. I can only start to describe it as a "wobble" in the mid to high tones. This is particularly poigniant when the engine is cold.

The sound goes away completely if I drive like a loon, crashing through the gear changes - but I would rather not drive like this!!

Any suggestions?

Yep, clutch release bearing. Mine went at 13K, whole clutch assembly replaced under warranty.

Cheers
