5 speed to 6 speed does this set up work
Hi
I know this has been asked many times,
But what i would like to know if a 6 speed with serial number TY 855WBIAA will fit into my car with 5 speed serial number TY 752VNVN6AB,
And is it still possible the keep the R160 hubs
(how much power do these take?)
with the possibility of later going to R180 ?.
This is all to do with my brake set up or can R180 hubs be modified to take
R160 brakes shoe's.
Regards

Yes you can keep the rear hubs, as long as you find a 3.9 rear diff of the small R160 size to match the WB 6 speeder. Depneding upon the type of rear 3.9 you buy you may need one drive shaft to complete the set up.
