Ok...So I already have a K&N57i induction kit fitted which I'm very happy with. (You can hear the boost, and it's a damn sight cheaper than a boost guage! ).
I'm getting rid of the centre-cat next week. I'll just have the D/P cat and then a straight thru 3" system to a 5" (or more!) outlet.
Now such improvements in breathing may cause a loss of torque in earlier cars due to leaning out, which an ECU reset would solve.
I take it that an MY99 shouldn't have such problems, and that a few miles under the belt should have the thing adjusted nicely? Should I be wary of overboost at all?
Car is always run on 98+RON Optimax.
