Following on from previous posts about dealers using wrong oils during servicing. My dealer uses ESSO Ultron 5W30.
Is this too thick/thin?

Thanks
Steve

for normal use that oil is the weight reccomended by subaru, so it is fine, most people on the list like the added security of the 10w-40-60's which is what subaru reccomend for arduous use... i myself try and use Castrol 10w-60 in my MY00

Cheers

Question

Steve
Is this a new Ultron grade? It certainly used to be a 5/40 which for normal use in the Scoob is fine.
