sticky clutch pedal

Default sticky clutch pedal

Hi
I recently had a 230mm exedy clutch and flywheel skim done and have bedded it in, however when the need arises and i give it some welly from a standing start, the clutch pedal sticks slightly and i have to kick it up but only when i give it the beans. Fine when normal driving andy ideas?

it will most probably sort itself out and stop doing after a good few miles.

Adjust the pedal rod in the pedal box.

If you look at the pedal assembly, you will see the pedal has to rock over an excentric pin - The pedal has to be adjusted properly for the return spring to pull the pedal back to it's return stop - Self explanatory if you look at how it works

Aim for about 7 to 10mm of pedal freeplay at the top of it's movement.
