Default Slipping clutch

Hi folks, iv noticed lately when accelerating hard in 4th and 5th my clutch is starting to slip
Iv had a search around the forum and noticed there are two different clutch sized 225 & 230mm, is there any way i could find out which i have before removing the box? The car in question is a MY00 ukturbo with 374bhp with a 5 speed, would an exedy organic clutch be upto the job as iv seen them advertised on aztec performance for a good price, the car apparantly has a lightweight flywheel if that makes any difference.

Thanks

Chris.

Hi Chris,

Clutches are rated by torque. If you are on a 2ltr, I would fit a Exedy Stage 1 Racing Clutch.

The ones on our website are OEM replacement Exedy Organic Clutches.
